The S.T.A.R.R. Team
The S.T.A.R.R Team is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization that assist official agencies in the effort of searching for the lost and the missing. S.T.A.R.R. is made up of volunteers that devote their time helping others in need. S.T.A.R.R. uses the assistance of service dogs that are trained and certified in live tracking and cadaver detection.
As a result of a combination of many mock scenarios during routine evolutions and actual events, our team is exposed to and proficient in wilderness search, building collapse, mass casualty events, and search .
The S.T.A.R.R. Team consist of individuals dedicated to public service exhibited by their desire to help others in time of need. S.T.A.R.R. membership and operational protocol revolves around the Search and Rescue creed:

K9 ANNIE
It is with heavy hearts that the S.T.A.R.R. Team announces the passing of Assistant Director Don Hale's K9 Annie, 1/27/2012. Annie was not only a tireless worker but a cherished friend. The S.T.A.R.R. Team has not only lost a K9 but a family member. Our hearts and prayers are with the Hale family.
